Next spring, around Easter, it's that time again! The Impericon Festivals 2024 are waiting for you. So, we're already announcing all the dates and even the first bands to stir up the anticipation.
We're excited to announce festival dates for six cities this year. Hamburg is a new addition and we're thrilled to rock out at the Sporthalle! The usual locations are also included: Leipzig, Oberhausen, Zurich, Munich, and Vienna.
Impericon Festivals 2024 - All Dates
We don't want to keep you waiting, so here are all the dates for 2024:
- Hamburg: March 28, 2024 - Sporthalle
- Leipzig: March 30, 2024 - Messe Halle
- Oberhausen: March 31, 2024 - Turbinenhalle
- Zurich: April 5, 2024 - X-Tra
- Munich: April 6, 2024 - Zenith
- Vienna: April 7, 2024 - Arena
The First Line-Up
Although some bands will perform on all the above dates, the line-up will vary slightly between locations. It's worth checking out the exact line-up for each date. Today, we can already announce nine bands! But of course, there are more acts to follow.
We can already reveal the headliner for all locations! The American metalcore band As I Lay Dying has been a well-known name in the scene for years and will thrill with both old and new songs on stage.
The mood will already be set for exuberant moshing and headbanging, as more metalcore is coming with August Burns Red, While She Sleeps, and Polaris. And it's not just Polaris as a younger band; Paledusk from Japan, Casey from Wales, Mental Cruelty from Karlsruhe, and especially Future Palace from Berlin will strengthen the young generation at the Impericon Festivals. Silent Planet from California will make the core-party perfect!
If you're a fan of some of these groups, you've probably already caught their latest releases. Mental Cruelty released their new album Zwielicht this summer. August Burns Red presented us with the album Death Below in March 2023. Future Palace dropped the new song “Malphas” along with a music video. Despite a tragic death in Polaris, they released new music with the album Fatalism and the band continues bravely. So be sure to check out the new stuff if you haven't already! Some of the new hits will definitely be played live.
Impericon Festivals Roadshows 2024
In the next festival round, we can also introduce the Impericon Festival Roadshows! There are two extra dates in Wiesbaden and Stuttgart, where the bands August Burns Red and Dying Wish will warm you up properly before the festival dates start. The perfect opportunity to test your moshpit fitness before the festival.
