The German punk rock band Die Toten Hosen are on tour since mid-July with the theme “Forever - A Cultural Imposition”. This article will give you the current setlist, all upcoming dates, and the latest releases from the band!
Did you know that Die Toten Hosen celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2022? Founded in 1982, the punk rockers have been actively rocking and producing songs ever since. For their anniversary last year, they released the album Alles aus Liebe: 40 Jahre Die Toten Hosen, which includes all the cult hits of the band as well as seven brand-new songs that are sure to spark any fan's curiosity.
There's even another anniversary to celebrate this year! The album Kauf Mich by Die Toten Hosen turns 30. An anniversary edition has been released, limited to 7,000 copies. It features several top songs of the band, including “Wünsch DIR Was” and “Alles aus Liebe”, and includes previously unreleased photos, a bonus CD with B-sides from the band.
With so many anniversaries in the band's universe, there's every reason for as many live shows as possible. So, let's finally take a look at the setlist for the current tour!
Setlist from July 26, 2023 - Hamburg
This year’s tour is particularly special due to the company Die Toten Hosen are keeping on stage. They are joined by the cabaret artist Gerhard Polt and the Well-Brüder, Michael, Stofferl, and Karli.

As you can see, frontman Campino and Co. really went all out. With three encores and exactly 30 songs, the fans could celebrate extensively. Especially with medleys, various cover versions, and the concluding song “Eisgekühlter Bommerlunder”, the atmosphere must have been very lively.
