The upcoming Cradle of Filth album is now officially confirmed: The Screaming Of The Valkyries will drop on March 21, 2025. According to their social media post, it “excels as a succinct summation of the ghosts of Cradle’s past, while taking bold new steps into the future.” Alongside this news, the band has also unveiled a new single, and you can check it out below along with the album’s full tracklist.

New Single: “To Live Deliciously”

Following the release of the first single, “Malignant Perfection”, back in October 2024, Cradle of Filth have now dropped the second track from their upcoming album. “To Live Deliciously” offers another glimpse into the extreme metal soundscape of The Screaming Of The Valkyries.

Frontman Dani Filth shared insights about the song’s meaning:

"The song is about the celebration of life. Of indulging in everything unfettered from the conformities of religion, fashion or state. Free from guilt or constraint. As nature intended. It could be read as a hedonistic life code. And a positive one if not done at the expense or the suffering of others. To delight in simply 'being'. Being alive and free in the here and now."
