With their debut album Love is Not Enough, Casey made a huge impact on the Post-Hardcore scene in 2016, just two years after their formation. Even before that, they were able to captivate thousands of fans of the genre with songs like "Teeth" and "Fade," which they released on the YouTube channel "Dreambound." History, Breakup & Comeback

The Welsh band was formed in 2014 after frontman Tom Weaver and guitarist Liam Torrance put their previous projects on hold. Originally intended as a studio project, with the support of musicians Toby Evans, Max Nicolai, and Scott Edwards (who left the band in April 2015 and was replaced by Adam Smith), "Well Wisher," as they were initially called, evolved into a "real" band. The name "Casey" was chosen after a short break and is meant to be a tribute to the late Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert. On the other hand, Tom Weaver was inspired by his love for the album Casey by The Rise of Science.After their highly acclaimed debut album Love is Not Enough, Casey followed up with Where I Go When I Am Sleeping in 2018 - once again impressing fans with their atmospheric mix of Hardcore, Spoken Word, and Shoegaze. A must-listen for fans of Pianos Become The Teeth, Touché Amoré, Defeater & Co! However, not long after that, on December 1st, 2019, the band released a statement announcing their dissolution. This was accompanied by the words "It's Time For Us To Bury Our Love" on social media. They went on one last tour through Europe before things went quiet.But on September 28th, 2022, there was a sign of life. A new era was announced on their Instagram account. Then on December 1st, 2022, exactly three years after their initial statement, there was a new band photo and message from the guys. Casey returned, and in 2023 they announced their next album. The album How To Disappear, released in January 2024, also shows the band at their best with fresh inspiration. Especially the track "Puncture Wounds To Heaven" has captivated enthusiastic fans! It's an album that invites one to not only listen but also feel, and it's undoubtedly a highlight in their discography.
