October is just around the corner, and with it come plenty of new game releases! Today we're taking a look at some very well-known titles and dates, so you don't miss out on anything.
Maybe you already have a few of the upcoming releases on your radar and your fingers are itching to get started. It won't be long now! Today we're giving you a taste of the games coming in October 2023 with trailers and all the upcoming dates.
1. Assassin's Creed Mirage
Actually, the thirteenth part of the Assassin's Creed video game series was not supposed to be released until October 12. Good news for fans; the date has been rescheduled to October 5, 2023. Assassin's Creed Mirage from Ubisoft is set in medieval Baghdad and, according to the developers, is supposed to take us back to the beginnings of the games. The game will be available for PC, Playstation (PS4, PS5) and XBox (Series X/S, One), as well as Amazon Luna and iPhone (15 Pro/Pro Max).

2. Marvel's Spider-Man 2
The first Marvel's Spider-Man game by Insomniac Games was already very popular and received numerous top reviews. Now the second part is scheduled for release on October 20, 2023 for the PS5. Peter Parker and Miles Morales are already confirmed as playable characters. Venom acts as the villain and makes life hell for the two Spider-Men! On the PS4, the game will not be available due to the graphics.
3. Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Who didn't grow up with the Super Mario games on various Nintendo consoles? On October 20, 2023, the jump-'n'-run adventure finally continues on the Switch! You'll meet many familiar faces, of course including villain Bowser and Mario's friends. This time, each level will revolve around a magic flower that can turn your game world completely upside down.
4. Alan Wake 2
The time has finally come for a sequel of the action-adventure game. Starting October 27, 2023, you'll be able to play the game on PC, PS5, and XBox Series X/S. The author Alan Wake has been trapped in the place of his own personal nightmares for thirteen years now and is trying to escape with the help of a new story. Whether he succeeds, you will have to find out for yourself.
5. Forza Motorsport
If you are more interested in racing simulation, then you should take a look at Forza Motorsport. It will be available for the XBox as well as for PC, iOS and Android. The thirteenth part of the main Forza series will be released on October 10, 2023. Off to the racetrack!
More Releases In October
There's also great news for fans of the miHoYo games. The publishers' newer gacha game, Honkai: Star Rail, will finally be released for the PS5 on October 11, 2023!
There are even more announcements for the PS5. For example, the horror game Scorn is already scheduled to come out for the console on October 3, 2023.
