What do you think are the most successful songs of the Australian Metalcore band Polaris? Today we present 8 favorites of the community!

Since their formation in 2012, Polaris have been delivering more and more captivating tracks, emotional lyrics, and a lot of energy on their albums. With their debut album The Mortal Coil, they quickly became known in the Core scene and have since become indispensable. That's why our top songs are going to the next round today!

The Remedy

So let's start with the debut The Mortal Coil. Released in 2017 and "The Remedy", as the last song and encore at their live shows, is still one of their most popular songs ever!

"Running circles, old habits die hard,

Each lesson learned never seemed to get too far"

Nightmare

We skip a few years and dedicate ourselves to "Nightmare" from Polaris' latest album Fatalism. From the intro to the last shout, it's both catchy and perfect for headbanging. Definitely the most popular song from the current record!

"We're living in a nightmare,

A pre-apocalyptic wasteland"

Masochist

And now we're on to the third album in the lineup, The Death of Me from 2020. "Masochist" is simply the perfect candidate for your Metalcore playlist.

"Am I addicted to the misery, is this how I'll always be?"

Hypermania

Backwards in the tracklist of The Death of Me to "Hypermania". A track to blow off steam in the pit and high up on the list of their most streamed songs.

"I'm only here because it's harder to feel than to numb what is real"

All Of This Is Fleeting

It gets more melodic again on The Death of Me. But that doesn't mean that the breakdowns are missing. Plus, these lyrics always hit the feelings anew…

"This is all I have from a life spent wishing, waiting,

and I won’t let go if you beg me to"

Lucid

The opener of The Mortal Coil already suggests a whole album full of intense Core energy and aggressive music. Nevertheless, Polaris' songs always remain catchy and profound, just like with this one. Live, the song really packs a punch!

“So, here I am for what it's worth,

I spilled my blood against the earth”

Landmine

Despite the strong debut, The Death of Me is currently ahead when it comes to fan favorites. "Landmine" can't be left out here - it's just one banger after another.

“Cast to the side (cast to the side),

No one heard you choking as you swallowed your pride”

Martyr (Waves)

With "Martyr (Waves)" we conclude our list, although there are certainly numerous tracks that would be worth mentioning here as well. The track itself would have been a worthy conclusion for The Death of Me - in this case we'll leave it at that!

“It comes in waves, that break upon the sand,

It comes in waves, to drown this broken man, oh”
