Attention, Minecraft fans! In April 2025, the highly anticipated A Minecraft Movie will finally hit theaters! Warner Bros. has just released the first trailer – and trust us, it looks amazing!
In the trailer, we see Jason Momoa ( Dune & Game Of Thrones) as Garrett "The Garbage Man" Garrison. Garrett is one of four outsiders, alongside Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers), and Dawn (Danielle Brooks). They're all dealing with their everyday problems when a mysterious portal suddenly pulls them into the Overworld – a bizarre, blocky fantasy world that every Minecraft fan will instantly recognize.
There, they meet Steve, the legendary Minecraft character played by none other than Jack Black (The Super Mario Bros. Movie) . Together, the five must embark on an epic adventure that challenges them to be brave and unleash their creativity – exactly the skills they’ll need to thrive in both the Overworld and the real world.

This is also one of the first appearances of Jack Black since he announced in the summer that his band, Tenacious D, would be taking a break. So, it's yet another reason to be excited for this film!
