It had been anticipated for a while: The Amity Affliction have now officially addressed their separation from Ahren Stringer. As early as January 30, Ahren himself had shared a brief statement on Instagram, announcing that he would not be joining the band on their upcoming tour dates.
Now, The Amity Affliction have posted a longer statement on their official channels, clarifying the situation: The band will continue without Ahren Stringer, and in their post, they explain the reasons behind the decision. Ahren had been a defining member of the Australian band for over 20 years.

We remain curious to see what the future holds for The Amity Affliction, as Ahren’s vocals undoubtedly remain a defining trademark of the band. And obviously we're also excited for possible future plans of Ahren Stringer himself!
Update: Ahren Stringer Comments On TAA's Statement
Following the Statement by The Amity Affliction, Ahren Stringer commented on the situation himself via his own Instagram account, speaking his mind. His words:
"Not tryna start anymore shit BUT I have been kicked out of my band. I will NEVER play with The Amity Affliction (who blocked me btw) love you all x."
So according to him, The Amity Affliction have made the decision without him - which has already been pretty clear from the way they phrased their own statement, to be fair.
