The streaming provider Netflix recently announced several new anime series. The adaptations of popular video game series like "Tomb Raider" and "Devil May Cry" already got brand new teasers!

For gamers and also anime fans, there will soon be a lot going on on the Netflix streaming platform. Several series have been teased at once!

1. Devil May Cry

Capcom's video game series consists of five parts so far - whether there will be another sequel is still unclear. What is clear though, is that there will be a new animated series for the game! The game by the Japanese developers has already been adapted as a manga (2005) and as an anime (2007), but that has been a while. On Netflix, however, it's already "Coming Soon".

"Devil May Cry" is produced by Studio Mir, which is known for the production of "The Legend of Korra", for example. Adi Shankar, who is known as the executive producer of "Castlevania", is in charge of the project.

As for the plot, the series revolves around the character Dante, an excellent fighter who can definitely take on demons. He'll be needing his strength, because an entire army of darkness is being unleashed upon the world!

You can get a first look at the visuals of the anime here:

2. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft

Again, for now it we're only told "Coming Soon" (or according to X: 2024), but that only makes us even more curious. Legendary Entertainment is in charge of production here. Among other projects, they are also entrusted with productions such as "Dune".

Lara Croft from the video game series "Tomb Raider" has long since become an icon in the gaming world. If you're a fan of action adventure games, then this series is certainly something for you! In the Netflix episodes, the events after Lara's trip to South America and her experiences there will unfold.

Of course, there's already a sneak peek:

3. Masters of the Universe: Revolution

There is also a new video for the animated series "Masters of the Universe", which gives you an epic fight scene between He-Man and Scare Glow. The sequel to "Revelation" is set to hit Netflix in 2024!

New Teasers From Netflix: Far Cry, Blue Eye Samurai, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off

It doesn't stop there, though. Netflix has even more input for you! For example, the series "Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix", which is inspired by anime and based on the video game Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. The show is therefore being produced by Ubisoft Film & Television. An official trailer is now available on YouTube:

The new program continues with "Blue Eye Samurai". This series is set for November 3, 2024 and takes place in Japan during the Edo period. It's about the vengeful Mizu, a sword master who must wear a disguise to avoid being recognized as a woman in the 17th century. Watch the new teaser for it here:

And last but not least, below is a full clip from the series "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off," which will be available on Netflix starting November 17, 2023. It will be the first season of the animated series based on the graphic novels "Scott Pilgrim". There was a movie adaptation back in 2010 - and the same voice actors will reprise their roles for the new series! Look forward to the unique love story between Scott and Ramona and the long struggle poor Scott will have to face to make it happen.
