Kerry King, founder and former member of the legendary Thrash Metal band Slayer, has announced his own solo album! All the information about "From Hell I Rise", from tracklist to release date, can be found here!
In the Metal community, one cannot exist without knowing Slayer. One of the biggest Metal bands of all time and one of the Big Four of Thrash Metal alongside Anthrax, Megadeth, and Metallica. And yet, we all had to accept that the legends disbanded in 2019. There were some disputes, Dave Lombardo was replaced on drums, and then their guitarist Jeff Hanneman tragically passed away in 2013. The band continued for a few more years, but after one final tour, it was time to bid farewell to Slayer. However, Kerry King, founding member and longtime guitarist of the group, continues to make music diligently.
Kerry King Going Solo
Recently, Kerry King announced his first solo album for this year. The record will be titled From Hell I Rise and will be released on Reigning Phoenix Music.

Kerry King himself seems to have plenty more to unleash after this album:
“Even with a record in the can, I’ve still got so many songs that need to be finished. This is what I know how to do…number one being music, number two being metal. It’s been a part of my life for 40 years, and I’m nowhere near being done.”
When Will The Album Be Released?
From Hell I Rise will be released on May 17th, 2024. For those who can't wait to finally hold the record in their hands, the album is already available for pre-order! This means you can pre-order your chosen version now and it will be shipped to you upon its release in May. This way you can also secure special and limited colored vinyl editions without worrying about them selling out after the album's release!
