Starting at the Mandora Stage, Bury Tomorrow kicked off the day with a bang. Fans of the English metalcore band were already headbanging and crowdsurfing while flames shot up on stage—a fiery start indeed! Hollywood Undead spread fantastic vibes next, interacting greatly with the audience, including a drumming segment featuring Bon Jovi’s “Living On A Prayer”! Gojira then cranked up the volume with intense death and progressive metal, showering the crowd with streamers, confetti, and even drumsticks during powerful tracks like “Flying Whales” and “Silvera.” The front rows really felt the heat from the pyrotechnics.

A more relaxed vibe was found elsewhere, with Tenacious D providing campfire feelings and rock-along vibes. Mosh pits were definitely back, especially during Papa Roach and K.I.Z., turning the Utopia Stage into an absolute party zone. There was jumping, dancing, rowing, and moshing, culminating in hip-hop romance with a sea of flashlight waves. After such a demolition, you indeed needed a break for the brain !

The breathless pace continued with Kings Of Leon, filling up all rows in front of the stage. Attendees relaxed to the hits of the American rock legends. Hits like “Use Somebody” and “Sex On Fire” are classics everyone should know, right? The night atmosphere, complete with a light show and the illuminated Ferris wheel on the festival grounds, perfected the impressive scene! Kontra K also created a beautiful atmosphere, signing a fan's sign reading “Kontra K - I want your signature as a tattoo,” making a fan extremely happy. His show concluded perfectly with fireworks over the Mandora Stage.

As the night moved towards the Late Night Special featuring Evanescence, some technical issues caused delays, but once Amy Lee started singing, all was forgiven. Many might have relived their youth through the music, experiencing pure nostalgia. The laser show and impressive stage set marked an epic end to the second day. Which Evanescence song do you celebrate the most personally? “My Immortal,” “Going Under,” or “Bring Me To Life” are surely among the top contenders.
