On May 28, the metalcore band Architects announced that guitarist Josh Middleton will be leaving the band. It appears to be an amicable separation.
Josh Middleton has been part of the band since 2016, stepping in after the tragic death from cancer of Tom Searle, the band's previous guitarist, in the same year. Now, the musicians are parting ways, but the band has stated they will remain close friends. No specific reason for the departure was provided.
However, you can still expect musical input from Josh, as he is also the vocalist and guitarist for the metalcore band Sylosis. Moreover, he released his own music in 2017 under his solo project, Passages.

Europe Tour 2023
The band recently played as a support act for Metallica in Hamburg and has announced a Europe tour for this year. Besides a few headliner shows, Architects will mainly be featured at festivals this summer, with several dates soon in Germany!
