Brad Wilk hit the nail on the head with Rage Against The Machine and never missed it again.The groundbreaking quartet made themselves immortal in a unique way that is rarely seen. They are clearly to be mentioned in the same breath as
System Of A Down, the
Red Hot Chili Peppers, and
Nirvana. So much authentic, aggressive musical energy brought out everything that heated up people's minds at the time. This made songs like "Killing in the Name", "Bombtrack", or "Know Your Enemy" timeless to this day. They repeatedly struck the right chord with their lyrics about societal conditions. These tones were first heard on a tape in 1992, which immediately brought them a deal with Sony. But the group came back together, first in 2007, but then they disbanded again in 2011. However, in 2019 they announced that they would reunite in 2020. Due to the Corona pandemic, shows were postponed multiple times before the reunion could even be properly celebrated. Their discography still consists of only three albums, with the latest album
Renegades released in 2000. But their records stand the test of time. In January 2024, the band announced that they would no longer play live performances from now on. But their songs will continue to accompany their fans.
