PVRIS, with the inverted "A" in their logo, initially caused some confusion regarding pronunciation. The band, pronounced like the French capital, was originally named PARIS but had to change their name in 2013 for legal reasons. As "PVRIS," they released their album WHITE NOISE, the PARIS EP, and their ACOUSTIC EP in 2014. Hits like "My House," "Fire," and "St. Patrick" are must-listens, as they helped the Massachusetts-based Americans gain worldwide recognition. They subsequently toured with bands such as Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil, and even joined the THAT'S THE SPIRIT TOUR 2015 with Bring Me The Horizon.The band's second studio album, ALL WE KNOW OF HEAVEN, ALL WE NEED OF HELL, was released on August 25, 2017. Lead singer Lyndsey Gunnulfsen presented the single "Heaven" on BBC Radio 1 on April 30, 2017, but our favorite remains "No Mercy." With their blend of alternative rock and pop rock with electronic elements, the band perfectly captures the zeitgeist, earning the unwavering approval of both fans and critics.
