About The Series Breaking Bad
The series
started in 2008 and aired on AMC in the United States. For
five seasons and 62 episodes, it captivated its audience, who eagerly wanted to know where Walter White's journey would end. The series was created by Vince Gilligan and set in Albuquerque, where it was also mostly filmed. Each episode cost about three million US dollars, which is above average for a TV episode. The high costs were also due to filming on analog film. Almost as successful as the original series was the
spin-off Better Call Saul. The original series received numerous awards, including a Golden Globe for Best Series, an Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series, the TCA Award for Program of the Year, and a Satellite Award for Best Television Series. The lead actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were also honored with many awards for their performances. Creator Vince Gilligan was additionally recognized by the American Writers Guild. Did you know that HBO initially rejected the series? A decision they likely still regret. Also, it's little known that Jesse Pinkman was originally supposed to die in the first season. Fortunately, Vince Gilligan changed his mind.
