As summer approaches, so does the peak season for outdoor festivals. To fully enjoy your time, we've compiled the ultimate packing list for you!
Each year, as we dig out the backpack, suitcase, or trolley, we wonder what exactly needs to go with us to the festival. Below, you’ll find our packing lists for all festival scenarios to make this process easier. Just tick off the items on these lists and check what you might need to get in time. Enjoy preparing!

Sustainability At The Festival
Your festival visit should go unnoticed by nature if possible. Here are some tips on how to achieve that easily. The brand Guppy Friend offers a great sustainable alternative to washing utensils made from plastic microfibers. The washing and cleaning cloths are made from recycled cotton or organic cotton, and are both robust and durable, making your setup much more eco-friendly.
Rock The Day!
Festivals can be unpredictable, with weather ranging from three days of blazing sunshine, heat, and dust to heavy rain, thunderstorms, and mud. Therefore, you should be prepared for all possible weather conditions:

To Satisfy Your Hunger
Hunger and thirst are not to be underestimated - plus, there might be a real party at the camping site! There's usually a wide selection of snack booths and even small supermarkets on-site for shopping. However, you often save money by bringing essential provisions in advance. Water is a must-have, alongside alcoholic beverages. For those who aren't morning people: don't forget the coffee (and something to make it with)! Some snacks are also advisable that don't melt or spoil immediately in strong heat. Chocolate and dairy products are thus not the best choice unless you have a fridge with you. Here are a few ideas:
-
Water!
-
Drinks of your choice (Note: glass bottles often not allowed)
-
Coffee maker / instant coffee
-
Fruit, e.g., apples
-
Nut mix
-
Granola bars
-
Dried fruit
-
Canned goods (e.g., ravioli)
-
Bread
-
Rice-/corn cakes
-
Cookies, pretzels, crackers, gummy bears

Deodorant
-
Feminine hygiene products
-
Towels
-
Toothbrush and toothpaste
-
Shower gel & shampoo
-
Soap
-
Contraceptives
-
Comb or brush, hair ties
-
Makeup mirror
-
Makeup
