At the beginning of November 2012, Suicide Silence lead singer Mitch Lucker (28) died in a tragic motorcycle accident (Which was naturally a big shock not just for deathcore fans worldwide). As it would've been Mitch's wish for his friends to continue the band, one year later they announced their new lead singer: Long time friend of the band Eddie Hermida, who is also still active in All Shall Perish. With the release of their 4th record YOU CAN'T STOP ME (2014) Suicide Silence finally started a new chapter - Despite most of the lyrics coming from Mitch (it was a great tribute).15 years after the band's formation (and 10 years after their debut THE CLEANSING) , Suicide Silence are back with a new record: The self titled SUICIDE SILENCE will be released February 2017 - Including the song 'Doris' which surprised fans with the use of clean vocals.
